I strongly believe that life is a gift. I do think a lot of the time we take it for granted, but it’s when you consider the odds of you being alive, you realise you really are, one of the lucky ones.
On researching I found out that the chances of you being born are like 2.5 million people, rolling a trillion sided dice, and ending up with the same number!!
Wow! Just Wow!
So do we act and behave, as if this were so?
Generally, I’d say no.
We get caught up in the process of living, that is; working, eating, sleeping, repeat.
Of course we have to work to pay bills and live etc but what about the other stuff?
From a personal level, I’ve realised more recently that I’ve been putting my life on hold for a little while now. I’ve effectively been waiting for my mum to die. I know she wouldn’t want this for me so I’ve reassessed it and reframed and that stumbling block has been moved.
I’m always been fascinated how some people have turned their life around after a trauma or event. The skills they used to change, where always there within, but just awakened with impetus.
What do you have within you now that you could put to good use to improve your own life and others?
What is it you would want to do that you haven’t already?
What would make you happier in your life by actioning?
Knowing what you know now what would you tell the younger you?
What have been your major life lessons?
These questions and many more are going to be asked in series of interviews about getting the most out of life. Its something I’ve been planning on doing for a while now. If you, or someone you know, would like to take part, please message me.
