Strength, it’s been a fascination of mine with my bodybuilding past, but I’m not talking about the physical here, I’m focusing on MENTAL strength.
We all need it at various times of our lives,
Some more, some less.
It’s however not an endless resource. How do we ensure we are strong to cope with life’s challenges that are thrown at us?
One thing I’ve learnt, is that actually you are a lot stronger than you take credit for and believe. When the shit hits the fan and you feel your weakest, actually it’s when you can be your very strongest.
When life really tests you, you begin to realize that all the ‘stressy’ stuff you thought was really bad, actually pales to insignificance.
So you learn a really valuable life experience and it actually builds you up, strengthens you and prepares you for further challenges.
So this is written to those who are going through and have gone through, challenging times….
Believe that you are strong enough to cope.
Believe there will be light and better times.
Have faith that sometimes these things happen to teach us a very valuable life lesson.
Believe that life will improve and you will be a better person at the end of it.
Look at it as a challenge that you WILL overcome
Never be afraid to seek the help, support and guidance of those closest to you. I always believe a trouble shared is a trouble halved.
Be kind to yourself, and ensure you look after your own needs, whatever they may be. This can be something as simple good nutrition or hydration. A good nights sleep, a great workout, or even just an easy, mindful walk.
Until next week,
